Tomatoes
First Steps :
1. Dig a 5cm deep hole in the soil
2. Fill it with water
3. Plant the little tomato plant
4. Tie the plant to a stick to let it grow up straight
5. Place a bag around the plant to protect it from too much sunlight
6. Water it everyday except on rainy days

Since my grandmother was farming for her whole life she knows a lot about it so she taught me how to plant tomato plants and how to keep them alive. I also read 4 magazines I got from my previous supervisor about gardening to find out more about plants.

After 13 days this plant grew so big that I had to take the bag away.

Those old leaves I put around the plant have multiple functions :
- They protect the plant from over-drying
- they stop other plants to grow next to the plant (other plants will take the water and minerals from the soil)
- they turn into soil
I put a taller stick next to the plant so that it can grow onto it.

After 28 days I could see the first little tomatoes growing.

After about 50 days the first cherry tomatoes got red.
